Ramadan mode

Ramadan mode keeps pace with your fast: no reminders to eat during the day, suhoor and iftar reminders right on time, and a day score that understands fasting isn't a lapse. It's off by default and turns on with one tap.

What it does

  • No reminders to eat or drink between Fajr and Maghrib.
  • A suhoor reminder before Fajr (30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes — your choice) and an iftar reminder at Maghrib, even if your other reminders are off.
  • The day score counts every day of Ramadan as a fast day: sleep, movement and caffeine are scored, not what you eat.
  • On the home screen: the day of Ramadan, and “Iftar at …” or “Suhoor until …”.
  • Dates follow the Umm al-Qura calendar, and Fajr follows your city's method (Umm al-Qura, Muslim World League, Egypt, ISNA, Morocco or Southeast Asia).

How to turn it on

  1. 1.In Settings › “Shabbat, holidays & Ramadan”, turn on “Ramadan mode”.
  2. 2.Pick your city from 40 worldwide — no location permission needed. You can change the Fajr method.
  3. 3.That's it. Times are computed on your phone and were checked against aladhan.com to within a minute.

Privacy

  • Nothing leaves your phone: the city and your choices are stored only on the device.
  • It works offline, and “Delete all data” erases these settings too.

Good to know

  • Times are for reminders only — follow your mosque's or country's timetable.
  • The month starts by the Umm al-Qura calendar. If the moon was sighted on another day where you live, move the start by a day in the settings.
